President/Chief Executive Officer

Tom Marano joined the company in February 2018 as director and Chairman of the Board and was appointed to the Chief Executive Officer and President role in April 2018. His prior professional experience includes running a destination resort developer and operator (Intrawest Resort Holdings, Chief Executive Officer), managing a financial consulting business (OldePike Associates, Managing Member), and leading in numerous capacities for GMAC/Ally Financial (Chief Executive Officer of Mortgage Operations, Chief Capital Markets Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of GMAC ResCap). Mr. Marano’s professional experience also includes the consolidation of commercial and residential mortgage trading operations and establishment of a mortgage fund (Cerberus Capital Management, Managing Director) and securities trading (Bear Stearns & Co., U.S. and Global Head of Mortgage-Backed and Asset-Backed Securities). Mr. Marano has over 35 years of experience in the financial services and mortgage industry and holds a Bachelor of Art from Columbia College.

Jerry Lombardo joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in February 2018. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Lombardo served as a Managing Director & Treasurer of the Consumer and Community Bank at JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he managed and had responsibilities for all treasury-related functions for each of the firm’s five consumer businesses including mortgage, auto finance, card, consumer banking and business banking. In addition to his role at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Mr. Lombardo’s professional experience includes transforming a financial firm’s global treasury organization (Ally Financial, Global Head of Funding & Liquidity), supporting portfolio companies in the transformation of their business planning, forecasting and liquidity functions (Cerberus Capital Management), and serving in finance roles with FTI Consulting (Senior Managing Director) and Refco (Chief Financial Officer). Mr. Lombardo has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Pace University.

Fred Young joined the company as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in October 2016. Mr. Young’s professional experience includes serving in various capacities for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (“the OCC”). During his time at the OCC, Mr. Young was responsible for leading various risk-related supervisory functions and analyses, identifying risks to the national banking system and measuring the effectiveness of certain risk supervisory efforts (Director of Risk Analytics), as well as supervising large and complex banks and the direction of a multi-year review of the mortgage servicing activities of a global consumer bank (Consumer Credit Examination Lead). Mr. Young has a deep background in risk governance and federal regulatory experience, with experience in credit risk management, portfolio management, loan servicing, portfolio and bank acquisitions, modeling and analytics. In addition to his regulatory experience, Mr. Young has held various compliance- and risk-related roles at midsize and large national banks. Mr. Young holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fitchburg State University.

Mr. Young and his family enjoy sailing their boat on the Gulf of Mexico.

Michael Squillante joined the company in April 2017 and has served as Chief Servicing Officer since June 2018. As Chief Servicing Officer, Mr. Squillante is responsible for ditech’s forward loan servicing business, including our customer service department, and is leading the transformation of our servicing organization. Mr. Squillante has over 35 years of operational experience in the financial services industry including insurance and broker-dealer operations as well as credit card operations. Mr. Squillante has been involved in mortgage servicing operations for over 15 years with prior professional experience in leadership roles at GMAC Rescap, Bayview LLC, and Sun Trust Bank. Mr. Squillante has a proven track record of managing large-scale financial operations of high quality and low-cost providers.

Rob Pieklo joined the company as Head of Lending and Revenue Management in June 2018. Mr. Pieklo is responsible for the operations and strategy of ditech’s consumer lending and business lending to ensure collaboration toward a common goal. Mr. Pieklo’s prior professional experience includes serving in various leadership roles within the American Financial Resources/eLend organization. Most recently, Mr. Pieklo served as Chief Strategy Officer of American Financial Resources and had responsibility for the oversight of capital markets, all company investor relations, bulk and flow servicing sales, the company’s consumer direct division eLend, and the product development team. Prior to that role, Mr. Pieklo serviced as Director of Capital Markets for four years and Senior Vice President of Retail for five years. Mr. Pieklo has over 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry and is a member of the Freddie Mac Affordable Housing Advisory Board, Freddie Mac Independent Mortgage Bankers Advisory Board, and MBA Capital Markets Committee.

Joanna Rodriguez joined the company in April 2018 and has served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer since July 2018. Ms. Rodriguez has over 18 years of Treasury experience, including most recently serving as Deputy Global Treasurer at QBE Insurance Group, Ltd. Prior to that, she was Executive Director and liquidity product manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co., and a Vice President at Citigroup. Ms. Rodriguez holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.

Ms. Rodriguez has always had a global focus and interest. She has worked and lived in six countries and is trilingual in English, Spanish and Russian.

Liz Monahan joined the company as Chief Human Resources Officer in November 2016. Ms. Monahan’s prior professional experience includes creating human resources and related administrative functions for a company that provides residential property services to financial institutions (Assero Services, Leader of Human Resources), overseeing the human resources department at a global software company (Quintiq, Global Head of Human Resources), and serving as a Human Resources leader at various financial services companies (Homeward Residential, De Lage Landen, and GMAC Residential Finance Group). Ms. Monahan has over 25 years of experience in human resources and holds a Master of Counseling Psychology from Rider University and a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University.

Ms. Monahan enjoys spending time with her family at the Jersey shore.

John Haas joined Ditech Holding Corporation in June 2014 and has served as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Secretary since April 2017. Mr. Haas has over 15 years of experience, including both as a corporate and securities attorney and as an investment banker. Mr. Haas’ prior professional experience includes serving as Of Counsel at Foley & Lardner LLP and Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank. Prior to that, Mr. Haas worked as a Director at Merrill Lynch and as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Mr. Haas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law.

Andrew Badstubner joined the company as Chief Technology Officer in May 2018. Mr. Badstubner’s prior professional experience includes founding and leading a boutique growth-centered consulting firm (Amplify Technology Group), leading the technology function and driving major improvements in system stability and scale of a financial-technology start-up (Kabbage, Chief Technology Officer), and leading North American product development for a major European energy management company (ista North America, Vice President Product Development). Mr. Badstubner has over 20 years of experience in the technology field and holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Science in Management and Finance from Binghamton University.

In his spare time, Mr. Badstubner enjoys mountain biking, especially with his kids.

Marianne Mainardi has served as Senior Vice President of Business Lending since August 2015. Ms. Mainardi leads the correspondent and wholesale channels of our lending business. Ms. Mainardi’s prior professional experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for Ditech Mortgage Corp where she managed fulfillment for all lending channels.  Prior to joining Ditech, Ms. Mainardi was responsible for the Business Lending and Warehouse operations for Ally Bank/GMAC.  She began her career in finance and served in various roles including Chief Accounting Officer, Treasurer, and Senior Vice President of Finance. Ms. Mainardi has over 30 years of mortgage-related experience, was a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
